Styles In Target Archery The Six Styles Permitted By The GNAS <<Back Free Style Any recurve bow which can be fitted with a sight, stabilisers, pressure button, and is shot off the fingers, can be used. The arrow can be of any type. Bare Bow Again the bow must be bare, even the pressure button is not allowed. The arrows must be wooden, and only the fingers must be used in the loose. String walking and face walking is NOT allowed. Longbow This is the class that is free of many of the restrictions in other styles. Any sight is allowed :- peep, scope or pin, Any type of stabiliser can be used. You can also us an “Over draw Device”. Any type of arrow may be used and the use of a mechanical release is permitted.
