This diagram gives you the correct measurement for arrows which should be from the end of the shaft (left blue marker to the inset of the nock (right blue marker). This may be especially useful for people who are planning to buy arrows or shafts online.
Determining Correct Arrow Length
For target/field archers, the Correct Arrow Length for any type bow (including bows
equipped with overdraws) is determined by drawing back an extra long arrow and having
someone mark the arrow as shown.
